At the bottom of my heart, I always think that my strength comes from others – from people like you – because you give me great hope and aspiration. Even though I may face many challenges, your hope and trust are what has allowed me to survive and carry on, and have made me stronger and able to endure more. The more hope and trust others have in me, the more strength I naturally gain to keep going. The Karmapa’s activity and my actions are directed towards benefitting sentient beings, but at the same time the source of the strength to benefit them comes from the sentient beings themselves. Therefore others give meaning to my life.
